For sowing small seeds, such as rape or grass seed, the metering system is infinitely adjustable by means of a screw spindle. The metering system is mechanically driven by a ring wheel running on the ground. The dosing unit is centrally located and easily adjustable under the hopper
The central metering unit’s fully enclosed cellular wheel accurately meters the desired amount of seed, which is then fed into the fan-generated airflow through the distribution cover to the individual seed coulters. The distribution cover is located in a protected position inside the hopper.
In the case of the CX disc-type header, the convex steel disc cuts a clean and regular groove in the soil with slight backfill. The plastic flexible disc keeps the seed groove open for accurate seed placement. Constantly cleans the steel disc to prevent jamming and clogging.
