Machine description
The Güttler 640 is a hydraulically folding prism-ring roller with transport running gear and a nominal working width of 6.4 m. 4 pivoting roller sections follow ground contours. The drawbar connects to the tractor's lower links.
Prism-ring rolling
The roller consists of alternating prism rings with diameters of 450 and 500 mm. Relative movement between the different-sized rings provides self-cleaning action. The prism points break clods, while the roller's weight reconsolidates cultivated soil.
The design produces a finer, firm seedbed base with a looser, cloddier surface. Pivoting frames allow each roller section to follow the ground independently.
